Taste, Enjoy, and Looking Forward

Reflections on the Past Journey and Considerations for the Future

Once you have cooked your dish, it is important to taste and enjoy the fruit of one’s labour.  Now that I have learned a lot of new skills and principles, it is time to enjoy the whole fruit of my labour. It is like cooking a multi-course meal using a variety of techniques and skills and recipes.  And, like most meals, it is best if shared.  Moreover, the reality of any meal is that another meal will need to be made soon.  And so, as I wrap up the MET journey, I reflect and enjoy with so many that I have met on the journey and spend time considering my plans for the future.

ETEc 590 is the course that resulted in this ePortfolio.  Stop by here as the final course of this "meal" as I reflect on this last stage of the MET journey.

A good chef is always working on something. Although I have highlighted many artifacts, there are other things cooking in the kitchen!  Check out my current projects within my teaching environment and beyond.

Every good chef needs some feedback on his recipes. This ePortfolio as a culminating recipe also needs some feedback. Please take some time to offer some constructive feedback using an easy-to-use form!  Also, feel free to leave your own chef's tips!

After a good meal you can enjoy it and savour the moment, but the reality is that you will need to cook again.  No matter how great of an accomplishment the meal was, you simply have to keep going.  This is true in all of life.  Even though my MET journey is completed, there is more work to do.  There are new recipes to try and old recipes to change.
